Frequently Asked Questions
Do conversions run in the browser?
Yes. BunnyConverter uses Mediabunny with WebCodecs to process media entirely on your device. No files are uploaded and no data leaves the page.
Which browsers are supported?
Any modern browser with WebCodecs support. This includes recent Chrome, Edge, and Opera; Safari 17+; and some mobile browsers. Firefox support is limited. If WebCodecs are unavailable, the app will let you know.
What formats can I convert?
Video containers: MP4, WebM, MKV, MOV. Audio containers: MP3, M4A/AAC, OGG, FLAC, WAV. Exact codecs depend on your browser's encoders; the UI guides you to supported options.
How do I save large outputs?
Use streaming save when available (the browser may ask for permission to write the file using the File System Access API). Otherwise, the app falls back to a normal download.
How large can my files be?
By default, up to 500 MB per file (configurable by deployments). Extremely large files can be memory‑intensive; streaming save is recommended when available.
Can I convert multiple files at once?
Yes. Select up to 100 files and BunnyConverter will process them sequentially. Each file respects the same size limit. When finished, a ZIP download contains all outputs.
Can I cancel a conversion?
Yes. Click "Cancel conversion" while a job is running. The converter releases resources and you can start over immediately.
Do you log or track conversions?
No. BunnyConverter does not send any data off your device. There is no analytics, tracking, or server‑side logging.
